BLACKHAWK "PERSPECTIVE" EXHIBITION

The Alamo Danville Artists’ Society will host the opening of Blackhawk Gallery’s new Exhibit ‘Perspectives. A Gala Reception will be held on Saturday September 23rd from 5 to 7pm, with wine and hors d’oeuvre. The exhibit will be on view seven days a week from September 22nd through November 26, 2017. The Reception and Exhibit are free and open to the public.
The ‘Perspectives’ exhibit features one guest artist and forty member artists. Guest artist Roy Tatman will be showing his 3D Sculptures. Members’ artworks include paintings, drawings, sculptures, ceramics, photographs, and wearable art.
The exhibit is curated by Debby Koonce, Kerima Swain, and Beverly C Turner.

We are bringing the outdoors in! Accepting artwork from for an exhibition called Artistas Naturalistas: Art from Nature at the Bankhead Theater November 1 through January 2.
Artist Exhibitions have been held since the theater opened in 2007 and have provided many theatergoers with artful experiences. Lynn House "ARTISTS COLLECTION" EXHIBITION

The Lynn House Gallery is located at 809 West 1st Street in downtown Antioch. The exhibit begins on Saturday, September 23rd, with a free artist reception from 2-4 PM and continues through October 15th on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 1-4 PM. The artist reception and exhibit are free to the public.
The artists who exhibit their work at the Lynn House Gallery are very supportive of each other and have developed personal and professional friendships. Each artist will get a voting card and they will decide the winners (except for Honorable Mention). At the artist reception and/or during the open exhibit, participating artists will fill out the voting card and leave it with the docent. Prizes will be awarded at the end of the exhibit based on votes. Artists cannot vote for themselves and must vote by October 14th.
